Payment & Refund Policy

Effective Date: December 28, 2025

This Payment & Refund Policy governs the terms of payment, billing, taxation, and refunds for services provided by Webmate Studio. By availing our services, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

1. Pricing & GST Information

  • Webmate Studio is a GST registered business in India.
  • All services are billed strictly in compliance with Indian GST laws.
  • All prices displayed on our website are exclusive of GST.
  • GST (CGST/SGST or IGST, as applicable) will be added separately on the final invoice.
  • A valid GST invoice will be issued for every successful payment.
  • If the client provides a valid GSTIN, the invoice will be generated as a B2B invoice, eligible for Input Tax Credit (ITC) as per GST rules.

2. Payment Rules & Procedures

All client payments for services provided by Webmate Studio must follow these rules:

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Payments are accepted only via Online Transfers (UPI, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, or Bank Transfer).
  • Cash payments are not accepted under any circumstances.

Initial Payment and Project Commencement

  • Project work begins only after receipt of the agreed advance payment.
  • The advance amount confirms the project slot and covers initial planning and resource allocation.

Milestone Payments

  • For large or long-term projects, payments are divided into mutually agreed milestones.
  • Each phase starts only after the corresponding milestone payment is received.

3. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital, professional, and customized services, our refund policy is strict and transparent.

Non-Refundable Payments

  • Advance / Booking Amount: Non-refundable once the project is initiated.
  • Completed or Partially Delivered Work: Any design, development, consultation, or digital work delivered is non-refundable.
  • GST Component: GST charged and deposited with the government is strictly non-refundable.
  • Third-Party Costs: Domain, hosting, licenses, plugins, or any third-party services purchased on behalf of the client are non-refundable.

Exceptional Refund Conditions

A refund may be considered only if:

  1. The client requests cancellation before any work has started.
  2. The project delay or non-initiation is solely due to Webmate Studio.
  3. No refund will be granted if cancellation occurs due to client-side delays, change of requirements, or external factors.

4. Project Cancellation by Client

  • No Refund: No refund will be issued for ongoing or completed work.
  • Deliverables: Only work corresponding to fully paid milestones will be delivered. Unpaid work remains the intellectual property of Webmate Studio.
